When Faith Comes to Town - Thessalonika/Berea

Faith requires choices.  Choices require faith. 

@BruceMcIntyre2 reminded me yesterday that in every faith moment and every choice moment...I have an opportunity to be receptive or rejective. 

It's no secret for those closest to me which one I tend to be.  It's no secret which one God tends to be.

When Faith Comes To Town - Philippi

When faith [in Jesus the Christ] came to Philippi it provided a drastic contrast to the culture at large. 

Leaders were persecuted.  The movement was legitimized.  Classes merged.  Tradition accomodated and transformed culture.  God resided at table top not on a mountain top. 

Plain and simple...people were transformed into the image of Christ, and began filling thier community with the presence of Christ, so that many could find the way back to God.  What a great model.
